1. Reality Show, "Super Star" Launched :Amrita TV has launched a mega talent-hunt for the best music performer in Malayalam in the 15-28 age-group. Branded the "Brooke Bond Super Star", the program telecast at 8.30 pm everyday(Mon-Fri) from June  12, is a reality show where 15 shortlisted candidates from nearly 3500 aspirants are competing for being adjudged the best music talent in Malayalam through publiv voting. 2. Amrita TV Partners Film Festival :The Embassy of India,Abu Dhabi and Centre of Media Studies presented the "Indian  Environment and Wildlife Film Festival(Vatavaran)"at Abu Dhabi(28-30 June)where award winning films were screened.At the inaugural function,the Indian Ambassador released Amrita TV's corporate booklet.As Media Partner,Amrita TV instituted three Awards namely, Best of the Festival,Best Public Service Message and Best Director

3. FIFA Coverage :Amrita TV commenced an interactive FIFA segment in its news bulletins with exclusive experts/snippets from the World Cup and a daily prediction contest where winners were presented with gifts on the live News programs.Daily World Cup updates were beamed from Germany by Josef Verdana, sports correspondent of Amrita TV. 4.Viewer Engagement Events : As part of a new initiative to create a better appreciation of Amrita TV 's programs  among Keralites across the country,events were conducted at Mumbai,Chennai and Coimbatore for Malayali Associations/forums .These customer engagement events involved direct interaction with large family clusters where the channel  programmmes were screened ,communication collaterals distributed with  viewer feedback sessions and ensuring channel's connectivity in different areas.These events were organised in collaboration with Dish TV who offer Amrita TV on their platform

5. Recognition :
