"Super Star" Web Forum Attracts 1.7 million Hits :The hugely watched music reality show, "Super Star", which has crossed 100 one-hourly episodes and garnered top viewership ratings,has resulted in  a blog forum in the channel's website, wherein viewers across the world interface with each other--in October'06 the website  clocked 1.7 million hits. 3. Amrita TV Launches New Serial,"Tacholi Othenan" :Amrita TV launched a prime time serial on the celebrated 18th century warrior,"Tacholi Othenan". Based on the real-life saga of this legendary figure,this is the first time in Malayalam television that his life and times is being serialised--characterized by feuds,duels,love,passion and conflict in the background of Kalaripayattu martial art form, period sets and costumes.
