"Amrita News" had telecast a story on the tragic plight of Arushi, an eight year old kid who has to undergo a Bone Marrow transplantation surgery for survival .She is the daughter of Rajeev and Sarita of Narikkuni, Kunnath parambath, Kozhikode. The family  needs to raise at least Rs 10 lakhs for her treatment.

Amrita TV had telecast a news report of the tragic plight of an elderly tribal  from Idukki who is fighting for his life for the past two weeks without getting proper medical attention and care. Ponnayyan, a native from Vandipperiyar Sathram Tribal colony, is only a representative of this poverty stricken hamlet.
