DSF Hungama offers a binocular view of the entire landscape  of the incredible Dubai Shopping Festival which unfurls over a period of over one month. Minutely covering the fabulous festival that had stationed the tiny emirate on the world map, each episode gives segmental information on the unbelievable shopping opportunities, the entertainment events, lifestyle exhibitions and cultural richness of  the emeriti.

The programme is  subdivided into 4 sections:

Events : Events were inducted  into the shopping festival as a sideshow to give an entertainment  flavor to the festival but have become as much a lure for tourists and shoppers as the bargains on display. This segment dips into the events that takes place in and around Dubai  such as the street-side performances at Al  Seef and Al Rigga Streets, children’s events, Falconry championships, international fashion shows, laser display, light and sound shows, signature events at the Carpet Oasis, dazzling fireworks, the Dubai World Cup the richest Horse Race in the world, super rich sweepstakes like the Lexus Mega Raffle,  Mashreq Millionaire Raffle, Mall events in the Wafi, Mercato, Ibn Batuta etc.

Heritage & Culture : Dubai had taken great pains to conserve its past, preserving the old nomadic ways of life in its museums. This section takes a tour through the Shindaga Heritage Village with its life like models that have frozen scenes from the age-old period, handicraft exhibitions, camel riding etc; the Diving Village that underscores the Emirates’ seafaring heritage and  throws light on its ancient pearl diving techniques; Khor Dubai with its old mud houses ,its characteristic architecture and unique airway systems.

Trends : Is a run through the current crazes in fashions, the latest thing in accessories, the newest wrinkle in clothes, the trendiest features in mobiles, the youngest generation of HD televisions, space age versions of laptops etc.

Food : Dubai is a global melting pot, home to a hundred different nationalities, their culture - and cuisine. Its streets are a gourmet’s delight  with eateries from all countries jostling cheek by jowl with each other from America’s KFC and Macdonald to Chinese chow and Spanish pastas and pizzas. The sections tastes the gastronomical spreads of a cross section of the more famous restaurants of Dubai.
