Ente Vartha offers a podium for citizen journalists to file investigative reports or news stories on issues of topical interest which may be on corruption in pubic places, unsolved crime, social issues, human interest violations etc. By encouraging ordinary citizens who are not professionally trained journalists to bring to public notice moral, ethical & human rights issues in their immediate neighborhood, Ente Vartha transforms helpless witnesses to proactive citizens capable of effectively righting wrongs. The novel concept of citizen journalists first introduced into the Kerala consiousness by Amrita TV’s ‘Best Citizen Journalist’ has been popularized by Ente Vartha . Ente Vartha has been witnessing a steady stream of citizens from unemployed youth to elite professionals such as advocates, engineers, teachers even government officials ranging in age from as young as 20 to as old as 65, eager for a chance to file their story. The reports of the untrained scribes, however raw or unprofessional have had the desired effect more often than not. Necessary action has been taken to solve the issue by the concerned authorities in 80% of the reports that have been filed in the episodes of Ente Vartha. Its an amazing programme for the people of GOD\'s OWN COUNTRY... I am an NRI vsisting my hometown once in a year. I can feel the social and economic changes of my people in my small state of kerala as years pass by.Its with great pain I can see current so called \"social status\' of our people. I too joined RMP with 7 IDS in but I am having moral issues doing this cause it feels like cheating other people! For me to continue in this business I want the companies which have been associated with RMP as the RMP say to come forward and agree with RMP people! I myself feel cheated after joining this company! There are no 1000 Rs. payouts in RMP. For an example I joined RMP with 7 IDS in first week with 4 additional sales in my right and 1 in my left leg in a week. I got cheque of Rs. 2493/-. There was 4 pair matched between both legs. What should be expected? Rs. 4000/- ? The receipt called payment advice along-with cheque says Credit of Rs. 4000/- Now look at Deductions: TDS: Rs. 388, Processing Ch. 120, Fund Tr. Ch. Rs. 300, I Card Ch. Rs. 299, I Card Tr. Rs. 400/- Net amount: Rs. 2493/- It means Total Spent by me is Rs. 6990X7=48930/- for inferior products @ four times expensive from general market! And I Spent almost Rs. 10000/- on phone calls and petrol to make convince my near and dears. Can you imagine what I received? I received amount of Rs. 2493/-. Isn’t a great business? If you become a new distributor and able to join 2 people in your down-line, you will not be paid for that pair, because that goes in unbearable forced charged by RMP, later for Rs. 750 you will need to develop their down-lines. Now you can make difference between your own business and MLM. I am also attaching the same receipt and cheque of bloody leech Company (RMP) along with this submits. You can do Simple calculation for RMP there are appx. 13000000 distributors, multiply cost of lowest product is 7000=91000000000 nine thousand cr. and how much money they distributed in market not more than 2000 cr. this calculation will clear u how Praveen J. chandan making fool to Indian people. So the people in lower bottom will have no RMP member to induct. Moral of the story is...start early in the untapped area.. Lure the crowd under you and you are platinum rich at the cost of others under your binary chain... Thumb of rule is...Just one out of 100 is a proud RMPian and rest are losers. And its product line is just another classical case for consumer fraud going by the value for money...It is my humble request to all please do not Join RMP or any other MLM and go by the claim of these so called RMPians. or whatever. I live on he baksof vembandu lake in Muhamma, Alleppey. I would like to bring to your notice a serious issue happening in these parts. The lake is widely known for its bountiful fish and clams/Mussels which are on the decline. Still the unrestricted mass overfishing especially clams is happening at a large scale. Let me explain Clams or Mussels are the most famous shellfish variety found in Vembanadu Lake. They grow to a certain size when they are harvested by the local fishermen , Very small Clams are not good to eat and can only be used as poultry feed. Nowadays a disturbing trend is seen whereby people who supply feed to poultry farms are harvestng tiny and minute Clams for interstate and suposedly export purpose. They are not allowing the clams to grow in size. Ask anyone in te village including the fishermen who harvest it for meagre profit whether they have seen a big or average clams in recent times. October ,novembe months issued to see big clams being sold on the road and stalls now tere are none because the ones harvesed are to tiny frhman consumption and snatched away by people who provide chicken feed etc. This is a sytematic and cruel destruction and natures bounty and will result in the extinction of this unique specimen of shellfish . Thegvernment is promoting tourism at such a fast pace but to sustain tourism you need to also protect your tradational and local fauna and flora. No tourist will come to eat burger or Kentucy chicken in kerala they can do that in their own contry they visit places to taste local food .Kerala cusine will lose its local Clams if we dont restrict clam overharvesting and allow baby clams t grow. I propose just like goverment restrict fishing in sea for certain time of the year they do tsame with t clam harvesting in vembanadu lake. The local fshermen or people are not aware because these chicken feed industries are not based locally so they d not even know where the clams they risk their lives to harvest end up. These companies send contractors with lorry which stand at the shore of the lake and carry of these tiny clams . Half the vilage does not even know such an activity is going on everyday. They just know that the old big clams are not available in market anymore. I have no problem if big clams are caught, but why havest tiny ones not fit for human consumption by anyone in the world. Please bring this story to light before it is too late. The same happened with \'Karimeen\' and now government is forced to provide funds to farms to grow karimeen as karimeen which was bountiful in Vembandu lake is almost extinct due to overfishing. One of my cousin has admitted in a well know hospital in Chalakudy, Thrissur. He got an accident as some small equipment fell down in his leg, while working in workshop. At first the hospital people have put him to general ward with a slight checkup and they said us he needs a surgery. I shocked, without scan / x-ray how they come up with this decision!! But the surgery has extended because of doctors availability, again they extended it because of Sunday.. and again extended it because of Bharth Bandth.. And later they finalized a day. In between we connected one of our family doctors, and luckily he did a visit in this hospital. By the time, they took the patient for the surgery room with all uniforms. The family doctor went and check the patient. The minute he came back, the hospital people has came back and told us that the surgery is not necessary, let he take some rest!!! We shocked!!! Does it because of our family doctors visit!!! One of my friends has shared the same kind of story in one of other famous hospital in Eranakulam. One famous hospital in Thrissur, is famous for CESAREAN BIRTHS. Out of 95% baby births are cesarean. Even though the patient is healthy, in the last minutes they will come with cesarean option. By the time we will not regret their comments. Because we won’t like our daughter/wife is in dangerous situation. Please try to turn your camera in these views. Lots and lots experienced patients are there in our God’s Own Country. Even if we check the medicine rates in super specialty hospitals, we can understand the truth. Recently I have had a visit in Guruvayoor Temple. I felt very sad to see the LONG QUEUE to reach and see load Guruvayoorappa. How big the queue was.. not measurable. I stayed an hour in the queue. But later I realized, there is a kind of partiality. If I have some friends/relatives in guruvayoor devaswam, it is easy to enter and easy to see Guruvayoorappa. Or if I be a minister (ex or present) it is easy too. May because of these ministers visit, we the people has to be in the queue. The same situation for prasada oottu (lunch). A big rush!!!, to avoid these rush, some people do the first visit in lunch (prasada oottu) then Guruvayoorappan. As an outstation guy, I had only few hours in my hand. But in that, I had spent a long time in here itself. It is very sad to say the attitude of devaswam. They must have to take care of these devotees. I would like to highlight a serious problem that many people like me are facing today. I\'m writing this in the best interest of common people who invested in their hard earned money for acquiring a house, and how the Builders are cheating them just by taking advantage of their helplessness. I bought an Apartment in one of the projects of Apple a Day Properties Pvt. Ltd.(Cochin - www.appleadayproperties.com) viz Big Apple in the year 2006. At the time of entering into Agreement, the Builder had confirmed that they will deliver the apartment by December, 2008. Unfortunately, till today, the Builder has not given possession of the apartment. They had already taken 85% of the total of the the apartment from me. The construction is now completely stopped for reasons best known to them. Self and couple of other customers have approached the Builder many times for resolution, but the Builder was dodging everytime and gave us vague reasons. As you are aware, we had invested our hard earned money for owning a house. This amount is the sum total of our hardwork for many years and loan taken from Banks at interest rates as high as 12% p.a. The Builder is enjoying our helplessness and is leading a luxurious life with our hard earned savings. Upon our interactions with the Builder, we could understand that they are least bothered to complete the project and listen to any of the customers. We, the poor customers are paying interest for the loan every month from our salary. The interest amount is considerable part of our salary, and the life is getting tougher for all of us month by month. This is not the only project that is delayed by the Builder. Almost all projects handled by them are indefinitely delayed, and the customers have been pushed to deep sorrow. Sir, it is a clear case of cheating as the funds have been misappropriated by the company/directors leaving the projects unattended. We had complained to the City Police Commissioner and the local police at Palarivattom, but to no avail. The authorities are not initiating action against the company or directors for reasons best known to them. The Builder is going to vanish one fine morning with all our hard earned money. Media has always played major role to bring these kind of erring companies to light. The investigation journalism team of TV Channels had helped the common public to learn, understand and realize the bad elements in the society. I would be grateful to you if you could help us to bring this company and directors to light so that companies of this kind will not get any public attention in the days to come. The company has grown through media with full page ads and tv commercials. Now, let the company and directors also understand that media can unveil their mask as well for the well being of general public.
