Nurunguvattam is an Easter Special telefilm that is slated for telecast at 1.30pm on April 1st, Monty Thursday.

The    one  hour film set   against a convent background revolves around the interesting theme of 7 nuns  drawn from different  walks of life, have  contrasting characters and  distinct attitudes to life who reside in the same nunnery.

Storms ravage their lives, lightning bolts are hurled at them but these tiny flames of goodness who have wedded themselves to the cloister do not go out.

They keep on burning like little fireflies in the dark.

Directed by Leo Thaddeus with music by film Music Director Alphonse Joseph and make up by Pattanam Rashid, the star cast includes the finalists from Amrita TV’s
Vanita Ratnam series, Sandhya Ramesh, Reena Basheer, Romy Sreekumar and Best Actor Contestant Asha Aravind.
