Sathi Leelavathi is a sitcom serial with renowned comedians of Malayalam entertainment industries taking the leads. The basic plot is set around two female neighbours ‘Sathi’ and ‘Leelavathi’, portrayed by Manju Pillai and Kalpana respectively.

Sathi is a traditional home-maker while Leelavathi is a modern house-wife. Well, that is a character mark depicted by their appearances and accents. Sathi and Leelavathi, two straight opposites in site but inside they are different faces of the same coin. Both their favorite hobby and prime pleasure is to express one’s superiority over the other and to boast about it to the highest possible extent. Need not to mention that their husbands and family are all made victims of the women’s Status-War. Their stupid fights topped with extreme gestures of humour  by the best performing comedians make the series an ‘easy-to-watch’ and ‘get-refreshed by watching’ package.

The week long telecast every afternoon at 2.30 pm is just the perfect time for house-wives to take a break and have lighter moments of laughter after a day long of toil in home-chores, and before going for their short little afternoon nap.
