Thinkalum Tharakankulun - moon and stars - is a story filled with the joyful  exuberance and gaiety of youth. It is also a touching story of how young people  reach out to help seniors gaining strength and wisdom from them in return.

 Three young women, hailing from contrasting social and economic backgrounds,  meet in school and become fast friends.  They decide that they would like to start  a day care and rest home for seniors together. 

      They place a notification in a daily paper soliciting a sponsor for their project. The inquiry is answered via mail by an elderly female classical vocalist, who  expresses interest in funding their project. During the course of their interaction  with their new sponsor they come to know of her tragic past their hearts reach out  to her and their lives take on a new meaning. 

      In the tradition of Amrita TV this is truly endearing, enduring and  entertaining  saga of love and life.
