A touching story of how a lady finds solace from her pen pal who supports her all through good times and bad.

Annie was an orphan living in a Christian missionary. Even though she was not in the comfort of a family she really loved the mother and sisters took good care of her and so did her friends. But what really made her feel special was a pen pal Tom whom she adored and she always looked to him for advice. When she reached the age of marriage she was proposed to a boy from a well off family and she was married to him. Even during the initial stages their married life went through a great deal of turmoil and soon things got out of hand. Still then it was her pen pal that she looked to for solace. There is a happy ending to the story as Annie finally meets her pen pal face to face.
