Amrita TV is gearing up to launch a new reality TV show, Junior Genius. It will be a programme designed as an optimal blend of education and entertainment, anedutainment reality show.
Junior Genius is a talent hunt for young talents in the 12-14 age group to showcase kids with a well-rounded personality.
The show set in a magazine format, will have two segments - first, a Quiz Session anchored by a celebrity ,and second the Talent-Activity Session comprising science experiments, sports, artistic capabilities, social service, adventure, interesting activities.
Junior Genius will be evaluating individual talent and at the same time nurturing contestants to work together in clusters for certain types of rounds; to make the show a wholesome experience for participants and viewers
Today's children are growing up in an era where advances in technology and communication have pushed the boundaries of conventional knowledge and learning. To be successful, children have to go beyond school curricula-oriented content and experiences.
The show will evaluate various facets of contestants potential in the arenas of IQ, GK, Academics, Sports, Artistic talents, Social Service et al.
Junior Genius will attempt to create an urge among children to aspire for a harmonious blend of information, education and contemporary learning in an entertainment format, which will have a mix of shoots on sets and outdoors.
