Some of the ace choreographers and actors of South Indian Cinema will be starring as the permanent Jury in Amrita TV’s new season of Let’s Dance starting July 28th (Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 8.30 pm). This novel talent hunt for dancing pairs which is open to male- female pairs or same gender pairs, which had generated public acclaim in its earlier season is now back on Amrita TV. The super duper hit dance number “Nakku Mukku” and blockbluster movies “Thalaiva” starring Vijay and Amala Paul, “Jilla” (Mohanlal & Vijay), Vedi (Vishal, Sameera Reddy) etc., are his choreographed movies. Giving him company in the jury panel is noted Tollywood actor Shantanu, who is the son of multi-faceted director-actor Bhagyaraj and actress Poornima Jayaram . Since the show is for pairs, the jury panel is also designed to comprise pairs which includes stars like Aravinder, Sarayu and Shruthi Lakshmi.
Twenty dance pairs from Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the 15-30 age-group will be competing for 100 episodes of the one-hour show for the next six months. These pairs comprise all-male pairs,all-female pairs and male-female pairs.
The final list of shortlisted contestants were selected through a state-wide audition hunt in different centres to elicit maximum participation of dancing talent.
