Lion is a breezy family entertainer  that has Dileep and Kavya in stellar roles,  presented by veteran film director Joshy. Joshy whose directorial cap is feathered by all-time hits such as New Delhi, Nair Saab, Nirakkoottu, etc and Dileep come together to deliver an out  and out entertainer. The plot is set in a political matrix,  but is  punctuated with plenty of comic situations that are exploited to the hilt by Dileep and the comic trio of  Jagathy, Innocent and Salim Kumar.
