This was a hit song of my time, and I felt like hearing it all over again, with the same old magic- to such an extend that it brought back many nolstagic memories. Simply loved it. So just couldn\'t follow the judges\' comments. MJ said you had put in too much feeling(the usual complaint is - lack of it.) DD said you were trying to be technically correct- can that be bad ? He also said your Hindi diction was reasonably good- a bad thing ? So what exactly was wrong ? The absence of Alphonse was felt too much- could have possibly heard something from him, within my grasping power. The pain on your face at the conluding part with Anand, was too much to bear. Ok, that is life. Shake off the negative feelings, and move strongly forward with your recently renewed confidence. Let God be with you always !(We will be too.)

One request .. please hear the songs very well. i have felt that you tend to either over express so it really puts u to strain or you tend to finish up the task. pls listen to the songs carefully and try ur best to reproduce as it is in ur voice.take help of the person who\'l correct you through ....while practising .. Hi Sups! Four five songs went by very fast, and you did quite well in all ! That is nice. What makes one feel real good is that you are getting into the knack of being relaxed and happy all the time. A smiling(and even jovial!) Suparna is a treat to watch ! Keep it up ! One thing you can work on(consider it as an Engineering Assignment), now that you are very much at ease and enjoying life, is to fine tune that \'pitch\' thing(whatever it is) which the judges are always harping on. Suparna you try to sing the phrase of the lines fully. you are breaking the words very oddly. so it is making a abnormal feelings even if you sung the balance excellent. try control your breath. you may know it is very important for a singer.

Suparna,I wondered how you were able to influence the two average performing assessors to secure such good marks in this audience round for an average song .Alphons after pointing out lot of flaws gave good marks dutifully followed by deepak It is a good thing you hv got these two ppl who hv no idea abt song and give marks as come to their mind.Really crazy ppl.Actually I expected them to give only abt 21 marks but somehow you managed to get from them good marks.When you sing nicely these ppl do injustice and when you sing by taking an average song you get good marks.Really cranky type of assessors.I expressed only my views and this need not reflect the views of others who hv great regard for the great trio.Anyway I am happy you hv got good marks and started this round with good score.Let this trend continue for the other categories also.Best wishes.

WOW !! Sups, that was pure magic ! Can not quite believe what the eyes saw really happened ! Like MJ said, the moment you cast off your pressure, you were a totally different person. Almost felt as if Celin Deon herself was on stage. As observed by Al, there was not a single false expression on your face throughout the song. It was as if you had psyched yourself to be Celin(helped possibly by the videos). And as Anand noticed, even your dress was perfect. The best part of course was that you sang so beautifully, to complete the lovely picture ! All the very best mol !

Suparna,I am happy with your performances in the comedy and global song categories you hv been able to score better thus pushing both anu and anju down markwise.sms is a factor of which nobody will hv any idea.But I feel with your performance you will get the life line and pushed to the next rounds.So too anju may escape and anu and raish will hv to face the music.This is only my opinion.Don\'t know how the tide will turn in whose favour?Anyway
raish will not be available from next rounds and in girls category you hv slight edge over the other two as sms will come to all.So it can be anybody\'s guess reg. anu or anju as I am sure you will be safe this time.But be sure if u are pushed to the next round never commit the mistakes of selecting bad songs,rendering with maximum perfection as 100% perfection can\'t be expected from any of the contestants and many move coz of certain other factors like the favouritism of the judges of which I don\'t want tell any more as everything is clear to all the viewrs as the great judges themselves hv expressed many times whom they prefer to go up and there is no meaning in raking up this issue again and again as that serves no purpose.

Suparna,your song rendering was very nice.I wonder when you got only 21 from the great trio whereas Antony for rendering in a stupid way a good song was given 21.3.Even alphons who normally is sober today lost his balance and gave antony 7.5 and others followed with 6.9 and 6.9 after making lot of comments.Really making the viewrs fools.Why the new joker anand always asking you whether u r tensed?Is he having any medicines to dilute the tension?Another stupid anchor who always says the great trio,extra ordinary judges and such
things when I found nothing of that sort.May be for his survival he is saying that.
Anyway you hv again become victim of the great trio.What to do with this?Better luck next time.
As said face the past with no regrets,handle the present with confidence, and face the future without fear don\'t bother abt the outcome of this idiotic show and concentrate more on your musical talents as the final results are more or less decided and sms and other factors are just ploys to hoodwink the gullible viewrs nothing can be done.So forget this show of no consequence except for the great trio who can wind up with fat purses and can laugh heartily of their achievements and making the viewrs idiots.Never again try in this type of reality shows which is not real but are only for making money and more money for all except the viewrs who must be the losers in sending sms votes.Just daylight plundering and no justice though the trio claim themselves to be great judges.Very bad.This is only my view and need not be your opinion or that of other contestants as you are in an unenviable position and can do nothing just like the viewrs and spending your time and energy in the fond hope of getting good score that are not coming.Bad luck.So be brave and forget the results and all will go well in your future and ppl who may be selected as the winners need not necessarily shine in real life. yaa u are right sam.And one thng i heard is that both suparna and m jayachandran studied frm a common guru neyyatinkara mohanachandran.So it is doubtful that jayachandran shares some ego problems with suparna.I have heard that neyyatinkara mohanachandran was a great musician with immense knowledge.So i request jayachandran to behave like a student of late sri mohanachandran.

But in all reality shows they are not mentioning these criterias and they are simply givng marks by their own.In every competition or xams around the world the board whch conduct these xams follows these rules say content,gud hand writing,precision etc.but here they r following nothng.atleast they shud consider the contestants according to 1.pitching 2.clarity of sangatis 3.voice modulation4. .raaga bhavam(if dat song is based on any raag) 5.thaalam 6.layam 7.lyrics 8.precision 9.improvisation 10.performance.Here these judges are mediocre as mentioned by a g raman sir.Even they don’t knw much about all these aspects while hearing a song.They are fascinated by the money channel is giving and they r sitting and giving comments as if they r jokers.I am ashamed by mr.jayachandran.I thot he knws something.Leave odrs like Deepak dev who is a keyboardist turned composer who cannot sing.But jayachandran who bagged a state award for palyback singing shudnt go to dis level of appreciation..He shud be bold enuf to say wat is ryt and wat is wrng.I m not favouring suparna but d fact is dat she is consistently getting low marks evenif she sings well.I heard her singing a song frm devasuram.I m not saying dat it was perfect.But she deserved more marks.And jayachandran is applauding for anything and evrythng sujithlal renders.I bet Mr.jayachandran if sujithlal can succeed as a playback singer.He cant bcz he is not at all perfect.He don’t knw the basics of music,even he don’t knw to notate a song.Then hw cud he be able to find out whch note he is missing.He is a singer who sings simply wid his talent.Dat doesn’t mean he is a gifted singer.He is a mediocre singer.So dis is a request to Mr.jayachandran dat don’t consider music as business only.Be a gud dedicated musician first.Then go for money.Be bold enuf to point out wat is wrng and wat is ryt…thank uuuuuuuu

Suparna,you cld hv been given more marks by the great trio in the duet song.So what you hv to do for the global round song you must somehow manage to get some of yr relatives and one or two ppl who are in the town from abroad and ask anand to get introduced and sing any song even if the same is average it is ok and then the three extra ordinary judges will give you more than 23 marks I am sure.In this Anu has taken a leaf out of the weakness of the great deepak\'s and master craftsman Jayans mood and cld get for a very average song and by making anand to ask the ppl who hv come to witness the shoot and asking the opinion and only Heaven knows whether they hv heard any of such songs and when they said all is perfect deepak got elated and jayan knows nothing abt western songs and both cld be carried away to award her 8 and 7.7 respectively.I can\'t say anything abt alphons as he knows western music and though he cld not hv given that much marks he had to do that as both the others hv made him to do so.So Anu by a clean move cld get when she does not deserve more than 21 marks for that song.This ploy was employed in another earlier round when the parents of stephen were present anu got for an average song abt 24 marks.Now you must know the trick that shuld be employed to get more marks, if you want.This is applicable to all.I can\'t digest this way of the famous trio in anands words, a stupid thing he repeats everyday as he has to surivive as anchor when remya sang better than anu but cld get only 20.8 marks as she never knew this trick.Such is the way the extra ordinary judges judge each contestant and deepak claims they are perfect in their judgment.Surely he requires some psychic treatment .A real comedian in this show.So all is not well with their judgments and I can even appreciate sarat and sreekumar as they give the marks without bothering abt audience.Then why these ppl are behaving like that.I am sure by the end of this round when the selection to the next stage comes Raish and you or anju will not be pushed up if my calculations are correct as anu will be protected by the great trio.Good show.I express only my opinion and not to wound the feelings of anu as even she would not hv expected to get that much marks,I am sure. By this they actually make the contestants and viewrs worry abt their strange behaviour.Not a good augury for a show claiming to be the best.
Anyway when such hanky panky things are going on what can somebody do?So try your level best and rest depends on luck factor and the mood of the great trio.I don\'t expect all to subscribe to my views but on deeper analysis it seems to be fair on my part.Best wishes.

Rajeev, your comments are really laudable.In fact I hv been battling with this type of comments from the beginning abt the sub standard judgment of the judges{I used to call them apprisers} and they are always partial and they hv their own ppl to push up and never bothered abt others.If somebody makes noises in their songs which you call \'adipoli\' or as another said \'thallipoli\' songs the apprisers just jump like as if they hv conquered everest and without any comments give high marks as happened in the case of Raish for a very average song with lot of \'karapura\' sound which pears eardrums but the apprisers were carried away with that and without comments gave high marks.Really obnoxious and preposterous.I sent many mails to Jayan but of no use as they are not botherd abt such things and there is no necesiity for them and just blabber something and give marks as they like.They get fat purses from Amritatv and they just say something and don\'t bother abt the feelings of contestants and deepak and jayan are behaving like jokers in a circus.So they leave good,talented singers to the mercy votes or sms votes.

As rightly said the show is only to help the channel,judges and servers as from sms the channel gets good amounts and so the servers.All just dramas.Jayan makes comments as if all are going to become great playbackers or something like that just to please all.Whom is he kidding?Will he take any of the contestants in any of his film to sing?May be in a film or two and never more than that.Then why is he still banking on established palyaback singers?Of course he is only an average music director and is also the fan of many music directors of the past and present and much need not be expected from him.But why he makles false praises to kindle the ego of the singers and make them victims.I am sure none of the the contsestants of any reality shows can become good playback singers or even singers.They are just wasting their time for nothing.At the end of the day somebody dear to the apprisers will carry the prize and the show ends with that.

As you hv said I hv not found any tension from suoarna this time as she is taking the matters easily and actually wondered why she is getting low marks.I was always feeling something fishy from the beginning.The show itself is becoming more and more boresome.What to do?

A word for Suparna, don\'t bother abt the comments of the apprisers and do maximum justice to the songs .Unfortunately without good marks going to further rounds at the time of elimination or I can call the same selection process as suggested in Munchu star singer junior by Mudugad , it is not possible as sms factor is not revealed as the same is kept a secret and why so still I don\'t know.Anyway hope for the best suparna and the coming round categories are funny ones and wonder how u hv fared or going to fair.Wishing you all the best and do your level best and don\'t depend on your convictions abt marks as that won\'t help in competitions as I hv said many times but you hv to carry the cross till the end and that is the only option to you.God Bless.

Hi Suparna, I\'m also a fan of you. Myself Rajeev from Trivandrum. It was my long desire to see SS2 shooting and i\'m very happy to say that yesterday i was there in the audience bench. I saw some of the performances and noticed only one. Thats nothing but yours. Already you have sung 20+ songs, right? I heard almost all songs. I\'m satisfied with more than 80% of your songs. But it is a regular practice that almost all audience are satisfied except the judges. I dont know whats wrong with our great judges . But it is a fact that always you are entitled to get more marks. You deserve more. All my family members watch this program regularly and all are having this same opinion, that you deserve more.


Yesterday i saw shooting of your performance Chaliye Kunjane from the film swathi thirunal. Its one of my favourite songs. You sang it very well. A very very very big congrats to you suparna. Such a performance was that. But as usual you get low marks. Why it is so? Is there any problem with you and judges. Sometimes we get dissappointed in this poor judgement.


You are really a talented singer SUPARNA. This is not a good platform for you. Even those fellows who are not having any knowledge in music can say that you are singing good. Comparing with SS1, the quality of contestants is very low in SS2. except two or three. Its no doubt suparna, you are one of the best. You are really blessed that, u r from the family of the great music genius Prof. Neyyattinkara Mohanachandran Sir. A big salute to that great musician. Just compare the judgment of a song in SS2 and ISS. You can find the difference. Just download from youtube and watch, you will be in a position to comment on the difference.


So please dont allow this reality show to hold back your talent. Devote yourself on music. Yesterday itself i found that the judges are unnecessarily giving marks to some contestants. Developing oneself from criticisms makes man perfect. The judges are criticizing on the contestants-thats great-but why they are not pointing the mistakes of some other contestants.? Its really horrible and terrible..


Last week i saw an interview with M.G.Sreekumar in one of the Channels, in which he said in a reality show, the first acheivement is for the cannel, second for the judges and the contestants come only tertiary. Thats 100% true. Some thing is happening behind the curtain. After each and every song the judges are saying that you are having tension. Is that the reason to reduce marks. I didnt find any tension in your face, then why they are commenting so? Dont know.

Hi Sups! It was evident from your body language, in the concluding session with Anand, that you were not quite satisfied with yourself. Which is a very good sign, as it clearly showed that you were aware that you were CAPABLE of doing much better. MJ also put it correctly when he asked you to break out of the shackles you have built around yourself, be a free bird and give your best to your singing. Of course your last song(remermber that you have fans everywhere and you can not let them down!) was very good, but what we(MJ,me and all) want to say is that we do not get to see the real you most of the time. So be a sport, go to it and make MJ(at least) happy!
PS....and of course, let us not be stingy with those sms!

Suryagayathri.It is a nice song with good flow but must be rendered well.Don\'t know who has sung and the music director but I hv heard this and liked the same very much.So you can try the same in the light music category if there is one in the 12th round.Hear the same and I am sure you will like the same as it will suit your voice.Only my suggestion.That is all.As all hv asked you to sing this and that song I too hv made a suggestion and the selection is absolutely left to you.So too \'SUNDARA RAVIL\' from Kochaniyathi.As I heard the songs many times and liked them and so I suggest.Anyway song selection is a matter to be decided by you.As the 12th round songs shoot will start soon I make this suggestion.Wishing you all the best in the 12th round to get more marks.God Bless.

Hi Sups! The problem is, you are getting too self conscious on stage, which makes you uncomfortable, which in turn is reflected in the song. Not that anything is wrong in the song, but the magic is missing which makes all the difference. Whereas you sing as a free bird during rehersals(as seen in the clips)which brings out the real you(and the magic)in the song. So just think that the audience is only a bunch of ordinary every day guys, feel natural and give the song every thing you got and let go! All will be ok. Ok? Good. All the very best!
PS. Personally speaking, I really loved your song. Only thing is, I would have loved it a lot more, if you had sung it as real Sups.

Suparna,I am greatly relieved at last you hv taken a very difficult song and hv done great justice in singing the same and got good marks.This is what is expected from you.So you hv proved that if you wish you can deliver good songs and don\'t bother abt the comments as nobody can imitate the song of the original singer except the original one but reasonably can try to keep to that level and in this you hv certainly succeeded.Never again make such silly comments like that you don\'t bother abt marks and if you are satisfied with the song it will be ok for you.Those comments you can reserve when you sing songs at home and not in a competition.This is said not to discourage you but to make you realise that you are in a competition and delivering songs which fetch high marks and to the taste of all are requisites to push you up in the ladder.Anyway the song telecast today was excellent and I hv to appreciate you to select such a song which only singers like chitra can do.But they do the same after years of experience and in a studio recording after several rehearsals and to the satisfaction of the music composer.So there can be no comparison when you don\'t hv that facilities and expected to sing with limited practice and at one go in a stage.But you hv taken the challenge and sang the song wonderfully well.Continue the same with the same tempo in all the coming songs and score high.Not a big deal suparna.You can do it.Your dancing ability also is good.Then what else one requires both song and dance.Well done suparna.At last you hv raisen up from yr deep slumber like a sphinx and continue the same.Best wishes.

Suparna,as expected and said sinov got the axe and though I thought both you and lekshmy will sail thru the judges hv followed the format of elimination of one boy and one girl and as your score was slightly better than lekshmys she was eliminated.Don\'t think sms has got anything to do in these rounds as all hv not fared well except nikhil,sidesh,sujith and remya who hv got more than 125 marks.Anyway you hv got a lifeline and unless you improve yr songs by judicious selection,practice and rendering nicely next two rounds if the present trend continues you may be the target next time.Pl take this as a healthy advise.Still I wonder when I heard yr reply that u r not bothered abt marks if you are satisfied with good singing.As I said in an earlier mail it is only thru marks you can go up and not by yr satisfaction of songs sung by you but the same shuld satisfy others also.Why you forget this always.Not a good comment on yr part You say you are nervous after every song and at the same time you are not bothered abt marks.I can\'t understand yr thinking.Anyway that part is left to you as you are the best judge of yrself.My only advise is remove all tensions,sing nicely and try to get more marks and that alone can push you up as already it seems in which way this show is going to end and only nikhil,sidesh,remya,anu will corner the top 4 slots if the present trend continues and all others will fail on the way unless great efforts are put to neutralise this.

Suparna,anyway the tensions of the last two rounds are over,I hope.As said while others prefer to see u singing well without tensions I am on yr track of marks as also singing and as said in an earlier comment now both you and lekshmy are more or less on the same line bagging equal marks in the two rounds and sinov way down.But I am sure no damage will happen this time and my thinking is that both you and lekshmy will be pushed to the next rounds for various reasons and sms factor won\'t count much leaving sinov to face the music.That means in this elimination round only sinov will get the axe and may hv to bow out and both you and lekshmy will see the next rounds.If such a decision is taken then it is logical as far as I am concerned forgetting the sms factor.As both of you can\'t be eliminated for various factors and so I don\'t think you will hv problems or lekshmy at this stage.I think my judgment will work out and there will be only one elimination.As the rules and such things are the apprisers views and need not be mandatory no problem will arise for both of you.This is my averred view and the same will happen and as such you need not spent sleepless nights over this.
But from the next round onwards be sure of yr ground and select nice songs and practice well and render them well without hiccups as you said you can write the exams only next year you can spend more time in rejuvenating yourself by judicious selection of songs for the 11th and 12th rounds and as I don\'t know what categories are there you choose songs in the way I hv already suggested many times and whether to follow the same or not is upto you.Be a confident girl and never show nervousness as after all you are not singing before a huge gathering but before some small audience and before ppl who judge are not some ppl to be afraid of as they suggest the same thing to all and not grilling and why fear and that too having come upto this level.Remove all such negative thoughts and infuse positive ones in yr mind as if you can dominate the stage and that confident infused songs will hv great effects.
You are not a small baby and if you see Munch star junior ,I hope you will surely see the same how the young kids sing so beautifully without any sort of fear or nervousness and really wonder kids.When they sing in a fabulous way is it not shameful to say that u r nervous always?Erase such thoughts and carry on.Best wishes for great performance in the next rounds.

Suparna,I am really disappointed that you cld not get more marks as you know well you are on a shaky pitch and if this trend continues after the two songs remaining you will be in a precarious position.Of course there are others also in the same position.In this way except nikhil,sidesh,remya I don\'t think anybody can get more than 125 marks in the two rounds taken to gether and all will be in the region of 115 to 125 marks and many will be around 120 only.Comments may come praising your song and all such things but as a well wisher I am not bothered abt that aspect as I know you are a very good singer with fine voice and dancing abilities and so I always concentrate on your marks.Many may not understand this but certainly you can know the anxiety on my part and I never discouraged you in any of my comments but only warning you again and again and I am not happy with this kind of marks.Don\'t know how you hv fared the other two songs.If you get the score in this fashion you will be in trouble as your marking is very low in the 9th round as you know.

Whatever be the outcome sometimes with some luck you may survive this time but how long this will go is anybodys guess.Just for this you hv wasted yr precious time in not writing even yr exams?It is really pitiable.You must know that this show is only for ppl with lesser qns who hv got enough time in singing only and can spend much time and not for ppl who hv to concentrate more on srtudies as this show normally will go on till next March or so.So just wasting time on this is ridiculous.So give more time for yr studies and try to come out with great marks and take this singing only as a hobby in yr spare time and just hang on as long as you are there.I am sure you are not going to reach final rounds which is far away and so don\'tlose both yr studies and this singing which is meant for ppl who waste their time in the hiope of getting aparts or something like that .Apart from that this show is not going to help you in anyway except the ppl judging you,channel,sponsors,mobile operators.The judges hv taken this as a means of their livelihood which you can\'t expect to take.Whether anybody wins or loses they get their fat purses and so they can sit and make comments as they are paid for that.As you know the market is already flooded with lot of young singers who hv never taken part in any shows,I mean reality shows and those who hv won hv not become a click so far.When estyablished singers are struggling to get their position going,directors except perhaps jayan find the same diffcicult esp.deepak who has nothing except this star2 which is giving him soime breathing spell for eking out a livelihood or else he would hv been stranded and Jayan has helped deepak in this respect and without jayans help deepak would hv been in the wilderness.I say only the truth and this I say not with no animosity towards deepak as I don\'t know him but he is not upto the standard and I hv heard he is only a keyboard player and I hv never seen in this show singing at least two lines in any of the languages and he is sitting there to judge the singers.Much of his comments are below par as he does not know anything and Jayan is guiding him in that too.Anyway let him give any marks and that is his business.I make comment on that and that is my right.
So take this advise seriously and never let down yr studies just for this show and ultimately u will find yrself losing both.As you hv said that I can continue writing comments I hv taken the liberty to write this whether anybody likes the same or not is not my concern but to make you undersatnd the real position and if you heed that it is only for good.This is in no way be treated as a discouraging comment but think over the same positively and then you will know what perceptions I hv written are always for yr good.
Again I stress some of yr ardent fans may find this unpalatable and make stupid replies without having any idea of abt yr position markwise so far in these two rounds and for them I hv nothjing to say.They know only to praise you in the fond hope that the same will give you a boost but never warns that you are on a bad situation and nobody knows yr fate at the end of this round when elimination comes.I am worried abt that aspect only as I wish you to continue for some more rounds as ppl with grace bowing out is really a sad thing and the show itself will become unworthy of watching.The thing happened in the case of Uma and ppl who praised her hv no answer and only I was warning her again and again and that c;ld not save her to come up.I don\'t want to see you also in that position.Hence this long comment.So be careful and now yr othertwo songs also wouldhv been shot don\'t know where u stand now.Wishing you well.

The girl, no, the only person with the best-est attitude in this show. Initially I thot they took u coz of ur looks, but then girl, u CAN sing! Love ur singing but sometimes u tend to get nasal.. Tht sounds not so good. If you have practised a song well, tht shows- u sing better. Otherwise there will b glitches. Dont get nasal(singin thru ur nose). Sweetest, girl and u r funny- great attitude and really sporty. The malayali guys will try to pull u down, its in their blood and they r jealous of a smart girl. Suparna,the telecast of yr song \'rajahamsame\' is a very heartwarming and one of my favourite songs and you hv tried yr level best to do justice and I am not bothered abt the comments of the panel.They hv their own norms and let them do.You hv got such a lovely voice which can make the hearer spellbound but I still feel you are not utilising the same properly.The song I heard last year in the Super dancer show and Shamna was dancing to the song and it was a marvellous one.But my anxiety is that still that cld not give you high marks and yr scorecard reads only 57 marks in this round.So unless you put great efforts and sing songs judiciously selecetd by remya which has catapulated her high in this round to corner the 2nd spot pushing both sidesh and sujith to the 3rd and 4th spots.Your ratings were good in the 7th and 8th rounds but in this round coz of bad selection of songs in both audience and non filmy you cld not score better.I don\'t know what categories of songs you will hv to sing in the next round but select very nice song and render them to yr maximum capacity as you hv some more time to practice and unless you score high and level up the dilution of marks in this round problems may arise.Of course as I said there can be intrusion of exams ,bad health etc but all such things shuld not disturb you and be careful abt yr throat problems and see the same does not recur to put you in trouble again and I am sure with your sweet voice you can handle any song though you may or may not be able to impress with songs which require high voltage performance which may carry the audience as your voice is a sweet one like Chitras and we can\'t expect her to render any \'adipoli\' songs and for that some others are reserved.The judging panel is so much interested only in such things and don\'t expect much from them and so whatever song you select be yr judge as I always advise ,practice them well and never give any room for the apprisers to make their usual comments which they make only in soft songs and not in \'adipoli\' songs and they forget such things and that was why the boys cld dominate so far and remya has taken a leaf out of that and entered into their zone with such songs and got good marks.When such be the case nothing can be done unless the panel give values to soft songs also and not carried away with such high voltage songs.This I hv stressed in so many of my comments and even by mails to Jayan but of no avail.So with all these constraints you hv to work and try to impress as much as possible and for that the selection of song must be nice and renedring perfect. as already your graph is coming low with each round and rankings also.So you must give serious thought as your advisers and many of the commentators won\'t know abt these things and just say you sing this song or that song but they don\'t know yr standing position markwise and the songs you sing being selected by them fetch low marks which if followed can see you not in the picture after the next round unless you judge yr song selection,practice and sing well.Hope you hv got the point.Don\'t know whether this will hv any impact on u and my repeated advises even may be irritating you but I am disappointed when you get lower marks every time esp.in this round.

This is the \'n\' th time I give such advise and still the magic is not working out and don\'t know whether I am wasting my time and energy by this method of acting as an adviser when silence is a better way.Still I write this only in the fond hope against hopes to see one or two girl contestants to come up in the ladder and you are one such hope but all that depends on the performance by you in the next round.Wishing you all the best and good luck.

Suparna,you must hv the mind to appreciate good comments made with good intentions only for your improvement in getting more accolades and marks as a good singer.Of course I know your position as you hv to concentrate on your studies and at the time in this show also and that will surely drain yr energy and I know you are trying yr level best but that is not reflecting in the scores.Always you must be careful in slection,rendering of songs without problems as I understand you hv a good carnatic musical background and I wonder for such ppl how can there be mistakes in sruthy and pitching as almost all the songs in films are based on carnatic musical background only.So you must concentrate that aspect well and for that a contnuous practice of carnatic music is essential.As said I am not interested in discouraging you at any point of time but only to point out more frankly abt the defects that you shuld avoid in singing.This show is not going to be the end of the world and you must take this as just an exhibition of talent which has to be acclaimed by the viewrs and getting top slot need not be yr concern.As you know in this round your grade is lower and unless you show better performances in the next round you will be in danger zone.This is only a warning I give you routinely and still I am not able to see the result.Nobody will waste his time and energy to make stupid comments just to discourage a good potential singer and such thought itself stemming from anybodys mind shuld be abhorred as the same is a preposterous thought unworthy of commenting.
You know welI I am a good wisher of you and always give you guidance only and never want to disturb your mind with unsavoury comments and if you take them in good spitits it is good for you and not to persons commenting on.Wish you all the best.

Suparna,I am really sorry to note that u hv started the 9th round in a pathetic way despite advise and warning that even if the song is selected by some audience you shuld be the judge as many of yr friends and others might hv selected many songs for the audience category and without considering the merits and demerits you tried to embark on a song sung by Asha bhosle which requires tremendous preparation as she is a great singer and your lack of diction in hindi and short time for practice fetched you lowest marks in this category.You were going on somewhat better in the last two rounds and I thought you would show improved performance and hence I suggested many things.Still you were carried away that some dance and wits may carry you thru getting nice marks in the same way Uma bungled in her performances.
Don\'t know how you hv fared in the other two songs and if this trend continues then it will be difficult for you to sustain at the end of the 10th round.You cld hv selecetd some malayalam or tamil song which cld hv been more comfortable.Taking risks at this round is really obnoxious.Anyway all is not lost provided the other two songs you hv fared well.Already the shoot must hv been over for them also and we will know only when the same is telecast though you might hv known the position.So be careful if the 9th round songs hv been finished to select very nice songs and be yr judge for the 10th round songs.I don\'t know why most of the contestants are simply carried away by the thought that by dance and some shouting songs will fetch them marks. All must know this is a singing contest and the song must be a good one and without flaws though may not be perfect but at least 75% perfect as only that much is expected as none can sing like the original singers incl. deepak,jayan or alphons.That is the reason those established muiscians are selected for those songs.Nobody can imitate like jesudas,chitra,sujatha,sankar and all others as they are perfect in their singing and so too Latha,Asha,Mukesh,Rafi in hindi songs.But at leat 75% of perfection of their songs will carry much weight and the ppl who are assessing also know that well.

As this competition will become tight as with every song as the apprisers themselves hv said select songs that can bring credibility and impressive instead of going for such dance numbers.There is a saying which I used to quote frequently \'that one can take a horse to the stream but twenty can\'t make it to drink water\'.This is not written to wound yr feelings but out of my anxiety to see that you shuld move up in the ladder to be a good contestant in the top rounds.So take this in a good spirit as you take the comments of the apprisers in a good way.
By criticising you I am in no way benefitted but if you get good marks I will be all the more happy.You must remember this is given only with good intention.
Again I warn not to repeat the mistakes of Uma and in selction of songs many times you think and never b carried away by the advise of only one or two but taking the selection of songs of many friends as well as by you and be yr own judge in slecting the songs.As I said there is no qn of sentiments in this as you are going to be the winner or loser in the ultimate analysis and others can\'t help and remain ony as a passive spectators.Even after selection of the song sing it before friends and get a proper asst.Friends I mean those who know something abt music and not just some novices.

So give importance always to the songs and never to performances like dancing when the same is required for the song it is ok but singing nicely is more imp than dancing and all such things and never forget this is a contest for singers.Wishing you all the best in yr future

But mol, is it not a good idea not to go for such toungue twisters, but select something you are comfortable and, more important, happy with? Suparna,as expected and posted by me you hv crossed the barriers and enetered into the 9th round.I am elated on this.Poor Uma as expected fell a victim for her actions as written by me in another post and the same was a foregone conclusion but I expected she might get sms which cld save her but that did not happen.Nobody will bet on a losing horse,this evidently she forgot.But suparna,even now your placement on the basis marks of marks is not appreciable and hence from the 9th round onwards you shuld deliver great songs ,preparing well as the contset will become more and more challenging from 9th round onwards and unless you deliver well high marks you will find yourself in troble at the end of 10th round.As told by me in an earlier post depending on sms is not a good singers choice as you will never be sure that ppl will support you for some unworthy song as nobody will spend money on a losing contestant.So concentrate well on your songs and try to follow the advises given by me and consult your close friends also and try to improve your position so that at the end of 10th round you shuld be within the first 4 slots.You can do it if you hv the will as you are good singer,dancer,a very much humoursome person and your wits come on the spurt of the moment which I liked very much and with yr good background it is not a big problem to move your position up and now you,bhadra and anu I can hope to reach the final rounds.

At the same time never forget your studies as that is more important than shows like this which are only a platform for showing the contestants ability and in no way can be considered as ones which decide your career in in life.For that you must study well and occupy great positions in life and never aspire to become a playback singer which will never happen as even these judges won\'t take any of the contestant in films of which they are the music directors ,I don\'t know whether deepak and alphons hv any films at hand and even if they hv got ppl like you though they promise this and that shuld never believe such things.So STUDIES must be yr first preference and singing just for some enterntainment is ok if some chances come.If possible try to develop carnatic talent which can help you to become a good singer and can do concerts.That is left to your choice.But give imp. to studies and since you hv come in this show so far concentrate on that also although there will be strain on you u hv to bear it for some more time as you are only young and can spend times.Hope to see you sing in a stupendous way in the coming rounds.All the best and God bless you.

Suparna,after taking both 7th and 8th rounds you are placed on the 8th spot.Not bad and no fear of elimination.You can go ahead preparing for the 9th round. I stress as I hv advised Anu if you go thru her page that always select 3 songs in each category record the same in your voice and be the judge and assess the same impartially as to which song is suitable to you.Then sing the same before yr trusted friends who know something abt music and after taking their opinion decide the song and master it in all respects without committing the usual mistakes of sruthy,pitching and such things and I am sure that will fetech you good marks and will move you up in the ladder.For that you require patience and good advise from yr friends to select nice songs which can carry you.Still I find some problems for your throat from the song sung by you which was telecast today.Don\'t knw whether you hv recovered completely from yr throat problem or yr voice is like that.So whether in folk song,audience,duet always take songs which can appeal to all and you shuld be the judge of yr song.Then only you can improve.Not by hearing the advise of all to select this or that song.
I don\'t know whether there will be duet song category in the next rounds and if so always select where the heroines hv dominance in the song than heros as the songs in almost all films are hero oriented and so the boys get more marks than girls as the heroines hv to do some dance and singing and the heroes can outsmart them always.If you hv seen the films you will know that.So there may be films in which the heroine oriented duet songs are there and you must select that and perform nicely which will surely fetch high scores.So too the other categories.Even in selection of hindi songs or tamil you must select very nice songs which can captivate.For that you hv to go thru various songs sung in various films incl. malayalam and select the best ones but need necessarily be the songs already sung by others in various fora but new songs which can create an impact.If you follow these guidelines I am sure with your dancing and singing ability you can do wonders as you hv a very good voice and good background.Taking this advise is left to you but as one interested that girls also shuld dominate and corner the top slots outwitting boys I hv suggested.Try the same and I am sure you won\'t be disappointed abt the results in future rounds.

Hope you are going thru these comments page as many don\'t go thru this and just ignore the same even good advise on singing and performing and naturally that has led to their downfall like Uma who if listened to the eversomany warnings of her position which I hv posted did not bother abt the same and select sub standard songs in the 7th and 8th rounds except one or two and now placed at the last spot and facing elimination threat though she may survive thru sms votes.But that is not the calibre of a singer.Getting high marks without bothereing abt sms which will come automatically is the criterion for a real singer.Hope you won\'t do such mistakes which Uma did out her over confidence and self inflicted mindset up that she cld rule the roost and hence now she is at the mercy of the viewrs.Such thing shuld be abhorred by a contestant who has come to show his or her mettle and not depending much on mercy votes to lift them up.That is not the reflection of true talent as a singer.

Anyhow whatever happened nobody can alter now and so please think over this piece of advise which is given with good intent as I don\'t know you ,neither you abt me and I take the pains to boost the morale of the promising singers and I am not a fan of anybody but of music but wish the girls also shuld dominate in an otherwise dominating show meant only for boys.
Such thing shuld undergo great changes from the next round and that is my only wish.Hence I support you,anu,bhadra and of course uma despite her carelessness as I am sure you ppl can reach the top rounds if you put good work.Wishing you all the best in future rounds.

Suparna,your performance in theduet song is of ok type as the song selection is for males so u cld not do much.Anyway I think you hv done some justice and the ratings also not that bad.I liked your qucik wit that kannum kannum nokia,kaalum, kaiyum samsung,motorala was very humoursome and enjoyable and proved that you hv good humour sense also.When you ppl say it is really enjoyable and not the way the judges behave as they are supposed to be more matured and responsible in their behaviour and that thing is not going to happen in this show as many of my friends dislike the jokes of both Jayan and deepak which are sub standard in several respects.Anyway forget that factor as they can\'t be improved and it is futile to make them ok.Hope you might hv done the other two songs well and don\'t know what you hv selected for those two songs.Perhaps you might hv known the results which we can know only next week. Hi Sups! I thought you gave a rocking performance with \'kannum kannum nokia\', although it was something totally different to your voice culture. You managed it very beautifully giving a new tone to to your voice, and changing your style altogether! In fact it took some time for it to register that it was actually you doing all that stuff. But it didn\'t seem to get thro\' to the judges, tough luck, what with Raish strutting about(in his usual style, of course)like a rooster with tail on fire. Ok, so you can\'t choose your partner, but you can atleast put your foot down on the selection of the song, no? It is really a wonderfull and memorable moments because you dance some more steps in this episdoe. Your eyes got some power. Suparna, a good performance in the duet round and your capability to change the voice is really appreciable but I feel you cld hv performed little more better but the song is like that as the importance goes to the male singer the female cast does not hv much to say.You shuld hv studied yr pronounciation well in songs other than Malayalam.Perhaps the other two songs also must hv been shot and if you would hv got marks above 20 there is no need for alarm in this elimination round.But will that be enough to carry in higher rounds unless you score always more than 22 in each song in future rounds.You must try and that alone can decide whether you can reach the top level as I always used to say only three boys dominate the show so far and are contnuing to dominate and the chances for girls coming up seems remote unless they deliver hit songs with all their capabilities,working hard ,without any lack of confidence or shyness and with the will to dominate the stage that alone will take you up in this contest.The partiality of the judges for certain boys is well known and I hv brought to everybodys notice and the trend continues.So we can\'t help in the matter.
So continue your efforts to the best in future rounds by judicious selection of songs and never show lack of confidence,shyness and assert yourself without fear and you will surely succeed in future rounds if you hv the will.Wishing you all the best.

Suparna,just for your info my name is a.g.raman and not agraman.ok.It is my habit when I get upset injustice shuld be met with only caustic comments whether the same creates rancour in the minds of the persons attacked is not my concern.Good judgment I always appreciate.Here the thing is that again I stress I don\'t hv any personal enmity against Jayan or Deepak or Alphons but the way they act as judges is not proper.So I hv to comment upon their modus operandi and thoug my comments are always lengthy which I can\'thelp but with the fond hope that the same will be noted by those ppl and do justice for the sake of justice.This is against hopes out of hopes although this won\'t make their ways change but just trying to make them reason.Thatis all.
Yourperformance is improving and you hvscored well over 60 in the 6th round and try to increase to higher level by selceting nice songs , practice well and don\'t invite comments from the apprisers as they are waiting to finf faultonly with girls and want to give lower marks but if the same is repeated by boys despite bad comments give good marks.Are they afraid of somebody?Or is it ehir policy to promote only boys/or jhv any boys given them they will sing in their good for nothing shows they perform on stages?Don\'t hv any clue.Wishing them also well in their pursuit of achieving the goal.So forget abt all the things and concentrate on good performance and let us see whether any change comes fromthe 8th round onwards.Best of Luck.

Suparna,I hv seen yr post.My name is agraman only and no artificial name.ok.Why I take pains to make comments to perform and attacking the judges for the partial ways they hv acted from the very beginning projecting the boys of their selection by awarding high marks for the \'adipoli\' songs in which the boys excelled to the detriment of girls in all the 5 rounds thereby pushing some 3 or 4 boys to such a level that is well nigh impossible for the girls to cover up the deficit and purposely they made comments and gave lower marks so that they cld say that from round 6 onwards they would be very strict but only in words and not indeeds and still the boys only get better marks from them.The final result will be the selection of certain boy whom they hv decided already,it seems and so the earlier rounds marks will be high and will be difficult for the girls to fill the gap even if they put maximum work in the coming rounds.This was a well planned way of the three ppl acting as judges and hence I am sure that in the final only sidesh,sujith,nikhil will be there and all the others will be wiped out of the show round after rounds and praising the girls for their performances isonly a clever ploy to hoodwink the poor viewrs.In this the burly Jayan, the dwarf deepak hv certainly done maximum damage to the girls and in a contest the trend shuld be for the judging ppl to provide a level playing ground for girls also as all can\'t sing \'adipoli\' song just like Jayan and deepak can at no time become the great masters like Devarajan,Raveendran,Ilayaraja
Rahman and other top music directors.They can only enjoy the songs of those ppl but can\'t deliver any nice songs that can be remembered for decades.In that sense Jayan can be dubbed as an average musician,deepak a good keyboard player.Only exception in this melee is Alphons who keeps his cool and a really talented person and his judgment is far superior to the other two but he can\'t do much, a gentleman like behaviour no shouting,howling like the dwarfian deepak or the fat man Jayan.They both crack jokes unworthy of judges as they think that will make the viewrs happy.They behave like street boys and vie with each other to become jokers in this arena where preference shuld be given to great singing and not to high voltage songs which can be anathema .But the sitting ppl do like that and enjoy the same and unwittingly award marks whether there is any mistakes or not and the girls even if they sing nicely are not appreciated and given advise to sing better and awarded low marks.The show in this respect has become worse than the asianet show.
Both the jokers are playing in such a fashion thatis well nigh impossible to rein them even by the soponsors or ppl responsible for conducting this tamasha called SS2.
Hence my concern for the poor lot who shuld also be given the chance to exhibit their talents and given good marks without unnecessarily finding faults with them and giving lkower marks and if the same is done by the boys after giving bad comments they are awarded high marks or above average marks.So there is no justice in their assts though they call themselves judges.Years of experience in this field has not moved the roly poly Jayan and the good for nothing deepak and in their midst poor Alphons also has to go along with the current as both owe thei status to Jayan and can lead a comfortable life by blabbering something like the other two ppl of asianet and never bother abt the tension of the contestants.How can they select real talented ppl?Amritatv has produced excellent programmesz andhad very good judges and their selection s were also nice except this SS2.
It is really pathetic for the channel which has earned a good name among the ppl.It is now time for the ppl who are in control of the show to come out from their deep slumber and rein the two judges to behave properly or throw them out and bring better judges as these ppl hv done nothing to increase the image of the the channel so far and paying to such ppl good money will be an enormous waste for the channel.
Hope Suparna you can understand pushing the girls to the backseat by the two mainly followed dutifully by alphons is my angusih.I don\'t hv any personal animosity against them but the way they behave in the show though some laughing things can be permitted but behaving like this is sub standard and reduces the value of their judgments and leaving the poor girls to beg for votes to continue in the show.This is the thing I abhor and I do feel from round 8 onwards hey behave properly.Continue yr performance with great vigour and see the neutralisation of the marks awarded to only boys.Ihope you,bhadra,anu and uma can do this.Rest depends.All wishes.Long comment but is essential for all to know how things are moving.

Suparna, your performane in this round on the whole is a welcome development and your graph is picking up.As wisdom seems to hjv down on the judges now they hv come out of their shell to project only the boys and in this round too they tried the same they hv come to make the contest a level playing ground for girls also and that is an appreciable trend.Pushing certain persons to the top in a contest is not a worthwhile idea which they can do in their programmes by taking them and giving them chances but when the question of contest comes they are paying wihthe money of the viewrs also to make tem fools by asking for sms and at the same continue their ways of prjecting two or three persons of their choice in the boys and the whole viewrs who hv helpoed the girls with sms will become folls in that way as the top man has already been decided by them for their own reasons and corner vortes just as a matter of routine though the same may be used for good purposes.Hence my frequent comments to show partiality in their judgment in favourof three boys.However it seems they hv changed a little although not completely and that may take one or two rounds to change their mental set up.Hope from the 8th round onwards they won\'t show partiality and judge the songs on merits whthere the same is sung by a boy or girl thereby enhancing the repuation of Amritatv which is a harbinger in many programmes successfully conducted and earned as a topmost channel and bagged several prizes and so my intention is not to nring down such a channel to unglory by this show of ss2.I stress again I hv nothig against the judges who hv their own talents which can\'t be disputed but in this show they hv not done justice so far to the girls and lift certain boys to higher levels and for what,I don\'t know.Hope the future rounds will get acclaim from all thje viewrs abt the non partiality of their judgments in each persons song in each category.That will enhance only their prestige from one of derision which they hv accumulated at present.Wishing them all the best in their new venture in future by changing their mindset and award marks judiciously without any bias.

Coming to you you hv done a good job in this round by bagging good marks and keep the tempo and this is not suffice and you must get more marks in the coming rounds so as to hv a fight with the climbing mark rate of boys.I expect you and some other girls to take up the challenge and wishing you all the best in future rounds.

Hi Sups! WOW!! What a show! Real malayali stuff(as DD very aptly put it.), something we Malayalees can be very proud of. And hats off to Sidhesh too for making it happen! Your praise for him(in childish lisping voice - so sweet that it made me want to cry)about his care and cocern for you during the training sessions)was real nice. Not to forget the cute little dance, made more memorable by that lovely cmic touch with the play with the mikes, all finished off nicely with some Tom & Jerry stuff by MJ and DD!

Suparna,it is agood sign that your graph is going up and you are able to cross 21.You got 20.3 for the first and 21.5 for the duet which is a good sign of yourself recovering compltel;y from your throat problems and gearing yourself up for the new challenges.The duet song was a nice selection and ably supported by sidesh.Well done.Continue this trend in the future rounds also and you hv got one more song which may be telecast in this week and you must hv known the marks.Anyway the 8th round schedule will start this week I presume.Don\'t know what are the subjects in which all will be asked to sing.Select nice songs and for some of the contestants the advisers tohelp them to select the songs are not of that much capacity and hence they select useless songs and get lower marks.So while accepting their advise be your own judge in selection of songs which suit your voice and render the same without the usual flaws and without inviting much comments ,I am not much imporessed by their comments except perhaps Alphons the other two are average apprisers.As the audience can\'t do much in this respect you must take up the challenge and sing nicely so as to move the mountains to give good marks by performance.Of course all the fans will vote.But that will be of no use unless there is good performance also.So keep the tempo and select songs judiciously.So far only the boys dominate the top places and with some of you taking up the challenge you can survive till the end or else they will dominate and show you ppl the doors.So take the same as a challenge and fight to make to the top rounds.All the wishes.

Supoarna,your performance that was telecat today was very nice.I think you hv come out of your throat problems and coming back with a determination but you must remember there is a long way to go and the keen competition from boys can overtake all the performances of the girls as they hv bagged the first 4 slots alreadyand with such a trend I wonder whether any girl can reach great heights.sms all will get but scoring high marks is very important to neutralsie that effect and in this all the girls are failing miserably.So select nice songs,practice well and project them well as your present position is not that nice as you might hv known from the marks you hv got and nobody knows abt the sms factor as nobody knows how much each got and the same is not revealed and the reason only the sponsors and the panel of ppl may know or whetherthe same is used for mischievous purposes to push somebody is also not known.In both SS and ISS the position is the same but given the image of Amritatv there won\'t be any misuse of the same by the concerned ppl.The contestants shuld be aware of the same as also the ppl who hv given votes.Why Amritatv is hiding like asianet is little puzzling.Anyway perform well in future rounds and push your score up.All the wishes.

Suparna, though you did show some nervousness when you were put in the danger zone as it is the usual thing in this type of shows I knew well no damage would happen to you as you were placed in the 9th spot mark wise in the last 2 rounds and of course there would hv been votes and hence your selection shuld hv been automatic though you were put in the danger zone as a routine affair to scare ppl.However from next round onwards you shuld be very careful in song selection,delivering the same without mistakes as the present judges give much importance to the high voltage songs of the boys to the detriment of the girls and much can\'t be expected in future rounds also to change their mindset which is really pitiable.They give undue importance in this respect and unworthy to act like that as they shuld hv the gumption to be impartial.Alas,don\'t know whether there will be some change of their minds in future rounds and you can only pray that they change views to enjoy only hit songs of the boys that will be selected for the final rounds as they hv some ppl in their minds from the way they awarded marks in the last 2 rounds show.It is really pathetic to make a good show hampered by the blind vision of the apprisers.Anyway do your best and wishing you all the best in future rounds.

Nyway i know u hav some problems wid ur throat. so leave it. however u hav diven a very gud expression to some places, like the starting line Tanha Tanha, and its repetitions. I think in Sangeetham, u r callin those lines as PALLAVI, i don know. Then the smooth dances, steps really amazing... that small small steps u performed was really superb. as alphonsji told, u could select a better costume. but u wer superb in that dress, but i didn like ur hairstyle. nyway hw is ur elemination? waitin for the result, but i know, u\'ll be there till the very end... expecting a gud result... Suparna,I am really sad to learn from the telecast that you and Uma had to be hospitalised for throat problems.For any singer voice is the only asset and unfortunately you ppl hv got this proble.Despite this your song today was so nice and laudable.You voice never showed that you have any throat problems as the same was so mellifluous.Don\'t bother abt the marks.Judges give marks according to their own way without any norms not only here and in all channels depending on their mood.So forget that aspect and the marks you hv got is ok and that too despite your problem as that can\'t be an excuse in a competition as you hv rightly said but it happens to all.Be careful abt your throat and voice and I am sure you will be able to recover completely for future rounds and make a great impact.Of course one more song is there and that too I don\'t know whether you hv done well as the shoot must hv been over by this time and marks awarded and we may know the same only next week perhaps.Don\'t lose heart abt this small problem as in this round all are not faring well or all are not getting good score excptt two or three and anything above 20 is ok.Other things fans take will take care of.So be confident and come out with merit in future rounds.All wishes.
