Sadhana’s Sensational Performance On Super Star-2 Stage

To the sheer delight - and utter disbelief of music buffs in Kerala, Sadhana Sargam came down to Trivandrum on Thursday this week to take part in Amrita TV’s Super Star-2.

In an unprecedented move she joined the Super Star sets to convey her best wishes to the contestants before they embarked on the 2nd round of Super Star-2. , the first edition of which had trail-blazed its way into television annals.

This is the first time she has consented to participate in a reality show in Kerala. Super Star-2. that is set to script new epochs in reality history was inaugurated last week by non other than Hariharan.

Sadhana shot into the limelight of the Southern film music stage with AR Rehman’s ‘Vennilave, vennilave’(Minsara Kanavu) and became a household name with another AR masterpiece ‘Snehethane, Snehethane’ (Alay Pauthe) .

She now rules the playback singing roost in Tamil, Kannada & Telugu films, being the first choice of not just front running music directors such as Deva, S. A. Raj Kumar, Bharadwaj, Karthic Raja, Yuvan Shanker Raja etc but also of stalwarts like A.R.Rehman & IIayaraja.

While addressing the participants of Super Star-2, Sadhana gave them glimpses of her rigorous daily training schedules that had moulded her to become one of the best singers in the Indian Film Industry, offered tips on improving their performances and shared her rich musical experiences, having worked with almost all the top Music composers of Bollywood as well as the South.

Later she had the entire set swaying to the dulcet rhytms of ‘Snehithane’ which made her an established star, ‘Mukundha Mukundha’ a recent hit and ‘Pehla Nasha’ an all time Hindi favourite, thus winding up a musical evening filled with the strains of perfect melody .
