ALWAYS GETTING TO THE RIGHT PITCH
-------------------------------------------------
M. Jayachandran has an uncanny knack of synchronizing his melody to the soul of the lyrics. His native talent was honed to perfection by 2 decades of rigorous training under a series of gurus, including Perumbavoor .G. Ravindranath, M.B. Sreenivasan and G. Devarajan. But success glanced his way only after years of struggle and disappointment. He made his debut in “Chanda”, then languished in anonymity for 20 films before the soul-stirring number “Ennele En Nenjile” in Balettan that audiences identified with immediately. From then on he delivered hit after hit, “Novel”, “Katha Parayumbol” , “Natturajavu” ,etc. Jayachandran has won the State Government’s Award for best Music Composer several times and the Award for Best Playback Singer in 2005. It is his ability to pitch it right that endows his songs with their outstanding sensitivity.

PEDIGREED PERFECTION
-------------------------------------------------
Few other play-back singers in India can boast of such an enviable musical lineage as Vijay Yesudas. He is the third in an illustrious line led by Augustine Joseph, well-known Malayalam classical singer, and the redoubtable Dr.K.J. Yesudas , doyen of South Indian playback music. Blessed with a rich, mesmerizing baritone, reminiscent of the young Yesudas, Vijay seems all set to follow in his legendary father’s footsteps, having sung in 6 languages already. He started his singing career with ‘Millenium Stars’ in Malayalam; some of his most popular hits include “Tajmahal Oviyakaadhal” from Kalvanin Kaadhali , ‘Kodi Kodi Minnalgal” in Jeyam, “Seval Kodi” in Billa etc; has won the Kerala State Award for Best Playback Singer in 2007.
