Super Dupe which has been ascending steadily up the notches on the humour scale with every successive side-splitting episode has crossed 50 episodes on the trot.

For the past few weeks, every evening at 7.30pm  Keralites have been treated to knee slapping sequences of Mammootty, Mohanlal, Rajanikant , Vijay and other super stars mingling freely with VS Achuthanandan, Ommen Chandy, Manmohan Singh etc in skits that were laugh riots from start to finish.   

31 contestants  who have weathered the skit and spoof rounds have come through from the initial  81 participants, gifted with the talent to assume another individual’s personality.

Only those dupes who could mime multiple mainstream celebrity figures from politics or films convincingly, beyond the shadow of doubt have been able to withstand the stiff competition.

Super Dupe which has kept viewers in continuous fits of mirth since its launch, steps up its humor content to become even more hilarious.

A medley  of   high voltage comedy elements are lined up in the days to come .
It  includes outrageously funny parodies of blockbuster movies fresh in popular memory such as Spadikam, Bharatam, Amaram etc ; outdoor picturisation of film songs that spoofs playback numbers ; 2 minute time spans in which the contestant has to mimic as many figures as possible.

There are also droll skits  that satirize the telebrand shows which advertise everything from exercising machines for every muscle of the human body to polishes that can give a brand new sheen even to worn floors; ‘Dushanthante
e-mail’ a lampoon on Shakuntalam which has Shakuntala browsing  on a laptop, trying to write a mail to her beloved   in front of her ashramam  and other spoofs  in the same comical club.
