Violin Scores the Victor’s Tune in Amrita TV’s Grand Finale

 

Govind Menon let his violin speak volumes for his ‘super talent’ by emerging the unrivalled victor in the Grand Finale of Amrita TV’s Super Talent.

He received the 1st prize and the purse of Rs.3 lakhs from the Chief Jury member, Cine Actor Mukesh.

Model beats, who enacted the world’s longest epic, the Mahabharata in 10 compressed but lucid minutes took home the 2nd prize of 2 lakhs.

Rock On, the incredibly agile children’s band who even brought Michael Jackson alive on stage, came a close third to become eligible for the 3rd prize of Rs. 1 lakhs.

The judges panel consisting of film actors Mukesh and Siddique and Shyamaprasad, renowed film director, kept a close watch on the brilliant final performances which were evaluated on the combined basis of the marks of the finals, the scores of the previous 2 rounds and the SMS votes.

The 20 year old Govind who drew out melodies from the depths of his strings  with
twists of his wrists and transported his audience to violin land with a string of fast melodies and classic numbers was the toast of the crowd.

The 3 hour long festival of art in which dance, magic and music took the stage but one held center stage was, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the crowd who rooted for all the five finalists to the hilt.
